An endoscopy is a test to look inside your body. A long, thin tube with a small camera inside, called an endoscope, is passed into your body through a natural opening such as your mouth.

Rectal polyps are protuberances in the inner lining of the bowel. The innermost lining of the musosa comprises of cells which overgrow and in doing so, heaps up on itself forming a surface elevation.

A colon polyp is a small clump of cells that forms on the lining of the colon. Most colon polyps are harmless. But over time, some colon polyps can develop into colon cancer. Colon cancer can be fatal when found in its later stages.

We often use powerful laparoscopic techniques in surgical situations. Modern surgeries for weight loss, diabetes management and all types of hernias (simple or complex) may be effectively conducted through laparoscopic, robotic or open surgical platforms.

A hernia is a gap in the muscles and fascia of the abdominal wall through which the inner contents, small and/or large intestines, stomach, bladder etc, may protrude out beneath the skin.
